How To Create a Custom Challenge Coin

Start the process of creating your challenge coin by sending us an email at inquiries@aviatorgear.com or by using the Request a Coin Quote link on our website. Try to include the following details:

• Diameter of coin or any special shape.
• A rough idea of the quantity that you plan to order.
• Sketches or draft artwork and a brief description of your design ideas.
• Special requests; such as edging, engraved names, or consecutive numbering.

Your designer will get back to you within 24 hours to begin the design process.

Artwork and Revisions

We should be able to provide a first draft of the artwork proof in 3-5 days for you to review and provide feedback and revisions. Please make sure to check all spelling, colors, and images on the coin very closely. Obvious errors are the hardest to see, so it helps if you get a couple different people to review the artwork proof. Send any changes back to us via email and we will make the adjustments. Each revision will take 1-2 days to complete.

Placing Your Order

Once the design is final, we will quote your project and send you an invoice with payment instructions. You can give us a call with your payment information or use our secure payment link. We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and you can even send us a check by mail.

Coin Production

If this is your initial order, it will take 7-10 days to create the mold of your coin. Once the mold is finished, production will take 3-4 weeks. Your coin mold will be kept on file for your next order.

Shipped!

Your coins will ship via USPS Priority Mail with 2-3 days transit time to addresses in the U.S. Expect 7-10 days shipping transit time for APO/FPO and international addresses. We will email your tracking number, so you can monitor the shipment all the way to your doorstep.
